We celebrate Star Wars day by making the Kessel Run in under 12 parsecs

I love Star Wars.

If you know me, you're rolling your eyes right now and thinking "well there's a big shocker, Kristy." If you don't know me, you're probably either like "Oh, that's nice," or "NEEERDDDD" - frankly, both sentiments are valid.

Prior to the pandemic, I brought in themed treats for May the 4th every year. Each time, I would raise the bar and see if I could top what I did the year previous. I may have gone a bit overboard in doing so this year - but in my defense, I've been on a 2-year forced hiatus! If I was going to come back, you'd better believe I was going to do it with a bang.

Before I get to the photos, I want to share the Kenobi trailer that Disney released for us today (the show starts on May 27th!).

Once you're done reeling from Kenobi hype, please enjoy this photo gallery - you can also see a video walkthrough on our TikTok! May the 4th be with you, always...and be sure to watch out for Revenge of the 5th!

The full spread, complete with decorations!

A close-up of some of the decor.

TIE fighters (cheese crackers and cheese) and Carbonite Jell-o
(I slapped a picture of Han Solo on the counter and laid the dish on top of it. It worked perfectly).

These are honestly so easy, but they're always a hit!

I love these dishes. Also, "Vader Taters" is just funny to say.

I saw this sign and I had to have it.

I found these lightsaber picks for the cupcakes and I love them. They look great!

I love these dishes, they always make me cackle.

How did you celebrate Star Wars Day? Let me know!

I think the 'Tie Fighters' was a bit of a reach...
