Earlier this year, E3 joined GDC and several other conventions in cancelling their event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some events have adapted with their cancellations by moving some or all of their programming into an online format, much like Microsoft did with their Build conference last month.

If you're itching to get the latest gaming news, the announcements start rolling out this Saturday. The PC Gaming Show, which is an annual live-streamed showcase of new games, exclusive gameplay footage, and announcements from some of PC gaming's biggest developers, will take place on Saturday, June 6. It will broadcast alongside other gaming presentations as part of a larger day of programming on Twitch and other platforms.

Evan Lahti, the Global Editor-in-Chief for PC Gamer said, "PC gaming has prospered in the last decade because it's the only gaming platform that belongs to everyone. Some fantastic new games deserve recognition, and we look forward to making June 6 a day for viewers to experience what's coming next."

In addition to the PC Gaming Show, Games Radar will be hosting the Future Games Show, a "digital stream showcasing the most exciting games of 2020 and beyond." The Future Games Show will show over 30 new games and play host to a bunch of exclusive world premieres.

Hosted by Nolan North and Emily Rose (who play Drake and Elena from the Uncharted series), the showcase will contain exclusives, deep-dives, developer interviews and roundtables. You can expect to hear from both AAA studios and indie publishers, including Square Enix, Team 17, Deep Silver, Devolver Digital and more.

The PC Gaming show will air on Twitch on Saturday, June 6th at 12PM PDT. The Future Games show will follow immediately after on their own Twitch channel at 2:30PM PDT.

PC Gamer has a thorough collection of online conferences and announcements scheduled for this summer in an article on their website.

Haven't checked but I hope/expect they have Sean Plott back for the online version of the PC Gaming Show.
