Stardock has released a new version of its popular Windows Start menu replacement, Start10.  

Version 1.7 adds improved skinning support as well as a light theme to support the upcoming Windows 10 update.

Start10 is designed to combine the latest features of Windows 10 with the usability of the traditional Start menu. Its features include the All Programs folder metaphor, integrated search, drag-and-drop shell integration and numerous user customization options.

Do you need to wait for the windows update or can you install now? If you install now can you install over the old version or do an uninstall, install?

You can install now and just install over the older version 

no need to uninstall , just reboot when asked ...

That's what I did and all is working fine .
